A regular check up with your local dentist is essential to maintain healthy teeth. Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure. There can be tooth and gum sensitivity for up to 48 hours after any teeth whitening treatment.

A lip and cheek retractor will be used to keep your lips & tongue away from your teeth which will allow us full access to your teeth and gums; before a light cured gingival barrier/solution is applied to protect your gums. We determine and record the colour of your teeth with the Vita shade guide before we start the process. The teeth bleaching gel is applied to top and bottom sets of tooth enamel. The products we use are generally safe and effective for most people. Not everyone’s teeth will whiten though, grey looking teeth, and translucent teeth are notoriously difficult and less likely to whiten.
The process above is to produce natural white teeth; if your teeth are in a very poor condition and require restorative treatment you may want to consider a Hollywood smile (straight & impossibly white teeth like 'Jordan') in which case you need porcelain veneers, (speak to your local dentist).
The teeth bleaching Procedure can take 1 hour to 1.5 hours from start to finish, depending on each individual. It is recommended (but not essential) for smokers to have a scale and polish at their dentist before any teeth whitening treatment.
No one can guarantee the level of whiteness that teeth bleaching will achieve with professional dental whitening.
